Aochong Liang (China)

Graduated with a master’s degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering from Hebei University, China. His research focuses on developing a new method for probabilistic hazard analysis of earthquake-induced landslides by incorporating multiple ground motion intensity measures. The ultimate goal is to evaluate seismic landslide hazards in the Shonai region of Japan and to generate corresponding hazard maps using the developed method.

Teshounkong Agendia (Cameroon)

Earned his master’s degree in Engineering from Kyoto University, Japan. His research focuses on the probabilistic prediction of earthquake-induced liquefaction hazards using a Fourier spectrum model. The study aims to enhance the reliability of liquefaction hazard predictions, particularly in the Shonai region of Japan. The ultimate goal is to bridge complex theoretical models with practical risk mitigation strategies by developing hazard maps that help protect communities from earthquake-related ground failures.

Peiyuan Song (China)

Graduated with a master’s degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering from Southeast University, China. His research aims to develop a ground motion prediction equation (GMPE) for the Fourier Amplitude Spectrum (FAS). By using the GMPE for FAS, various ground motion intensity measures can be estimated more efficiently. This approach allows for the direct estimation of these intensity measures based on random vibration theory, eliminating the need to develop separate GMPEs for each one.

Undergraduate Students (学部生)

高木 瞳

研究内容:最上川周辺において、ボーリングデータの存在する地点付近で常時微動観測を実施し、常時微動観測の実用性を検討している。さらに、鶴岡市内を対象に微動観測を行い、地盤の増幅特性を調査して、地盤の揺れやすさを表すハザードマップの作成に取り込んでいる。

住家 信之介

研究内容:庄内地域を対象に、樹木の重量や根のせん断抵抗力などの樹木特性を考慮して、地震による土砂崩れのハザード評価およびハザードマップの作成を行っている。

三浦 雄介

研究内容:庄内平野を対象に、フーリエスペクトルに基づき、最大加速度・最大速度・応答スペクトルなどの地震動強さ指標を算出し、これら複数の指標を用いたハザード評価およびハザードマップの作成に取り組んでいる。
