Our laboratory is dedicated to contributing to the creation of a safer and more sustainable future in the fields of earthquake engineering and geotechnical engineering. We focus on assessing and mitigating disaster risks related to earthquakes, landslides, and liquefaction. Specifically, we are engaged in seismic risk assessment, landslide risk evaluation, and liquefaction hazard analysis based on probabilistic seismic hazard analysis. By integrating seismic data analysis, microtremor observations, and probabilistic methods, we are developing new evaluation techniques to aid in disaster prevention and risk reduction.
